Manual Machining 101
Program Overview
This is a foundational course for Manual Machining. The purpose of the course is to educate and inform the home hobbyist and persons interested in a career in machining and its applications. Students will learn types of cut-ff machines, drill pressed, pedestal grinders, lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, surface and cylindrical grinding machines. Recommended pre-requisite to the CNC Machining Course.

Required Items
Hard sole shoes with leather uppers should be worn. Sneakers are not permitted. Pants with frays and holes should be avoided. Long sleeves are not permitted. Safety glasses will be provided.
