Supervisor of Adult & Post-Secondary Education

Michael McMonigal joined The Academy in October 2017. He is a graduate of Lycoming College holding a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Environmental Science. Mr. McMonigal has spent his professional career working in the non-profit industry and many years working with adult students.

While working with the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit at the PA CareerLink, he coordinated the Employment Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) program in Centre, Mifflin, Juniata, and Perry counties. He worked closely with local employers and high school students through the Bridges to the Future In-School Youth program. Most recently he served as the Executive Director of the United Way of Mifflin-Juniata.

Mr. McMonigal lives in Reedsville with his wife, Lori, and two sons.
