Practical Nursing Instructor

Chrissie Longacre is a substitute instructor at the Academy. She earned her RN diploma from the Geisinger School of Nursing, a BSN from American Sentinel University, and an MSN in Case Management from American Sentinel University/Post University while working at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital as a psychiatric nurse and a behavioral specialist. Her background includes working as a registered nurse in physical rehabilitation, med/surg, psychiatry and as a behavioral specialist in an emergency department. After obtaining her MSN, she worked as a nurse case manager for Geisinger Health Plan.
