Advanced Manufacturing

The Advanced Manufacturing Club includes students from Precision Machine Technology, Welding Technology and Mechatronics programs. The Club partners with The Manufacturing Association in York, Pennsylvania enabling Academy students access to more than 100 Pennsylvania businesses and industries. If students choose, they may enroll in an industry recognized pre-apprenticeship program to gain instructional, technical and basic skill training for manufacturing career opportunities in South Central PA and Northern MD and acquire advanced skills and training far beyond. Final transcripted grades, percentage grades are reported to sending school districts, which will be calculated as a letter grade according to each sending school’s grading scale. Final grades issued at the end of the school year will be the average of all the marking period percentage grades and on-the-job training.
